Completing further research can reassure you that this right exists in many historical and political documents. This article does not challenge this right in any way. However, I would like to expose the different perceptions of this right due to our current high volume usage linked to social media as a society. … Continue Reading

Online Social Hacking
Posted on February 20, 2013 by tatiana
Let’s face it; getting hacked is a universal negative. No one wants their personal information exposed to the general public especially social networks. Recently big name brands have had the unfortunate opportunity to fall victim to online social hacking. Imposters posing as the popular brand break into the Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram accounts, and any other well-known platform linked to the company. Not only do they post as the brand identity, but they are reflecting their false messages among the news feeds and timelines of large amounts of people. Your followers are aware of everything you post so when a hacker is able to use these mediums to their advantage, the brand’s reputation is at stake. Burger King and Jeep can share their perspective on this topic as a result of a personal experience. … Continue Reading

From web to mobile platforms, there seems to be no stopping the rapid progress of the social media industry and all of its innovations. If we want to look back on the progression of communication from a public viewpoint we can start with internet online chatting. Chat rooms on Aim and Yahoo Messenger were especially popular in the late 90’s to early 2000’s. Nonetheless, Instagram’s photo-based methods of sharing had a huge impact as well. Now we have: Spreecast? … Continue Reading
